Good morning, Hump Day

Good morning. You’d be hard to know it was 5 below this morning, as after all cold, one becomes accustomed to the cold. The sun was shining and the birds were chirping. It felt almost spring like out.

Spring will come as the winter weather must ultimately succumb to the changing axis of the earth to sun. Historical record highs show occasions when the temperature has reached the upper 60s this time year. That is kind of a oddity this time of year but so is the cold.

Forty days from now will be the last day of March. Then April comes around again. Mother nature doesn’t prohibit snow in April and snow and ice is expected in the mountains through mid-May or later.

But in the lower elevations I should be able to get camping and traveling by early April. A little bit of snow won’t stop me if I can get back to the campsites in my truck, like the ones near plowed roads.
