November 6, 2017 7 AM Update

Good morning! Monday morning. Kind of nice to be able to sleep in an extra hour before going to work. Warm and cloudy morning —  60 degrees in Delmar, NY. Already have lost a handful of degrees since I awoke. There is a south breeze at 13 mph. The dew point is 57 degrees. The skies will clear around 6 pm.

Today will have showers likely, mainly before 2pm. Cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 51 by 5pm. Breezy, with a south wind 8 to 13 mph becoming northwest 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. It will feel chilly this afternoon and then be chilly all week. Bring your rain coat but not your umbrella, as the chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. A year ago, we had mostly cloudy skies. The high last year was 51 degrees. The record high of 73 was set in 2015. 3.2 inches of snow fell back in 1933.
