Today started out quite nice, but that good weather hasn’t lasted as clouds now prevail in the skies. Maybe more blue skies on Wednesday? We will see. I am getting tired of all this rainy weather. It’s kind of a bummer. After work, I did get some good eats at Queens Night, which is one of the many exciting receptions they have here in Albany. They did have some good food for sure although now I feel a bit tired. Queens food is much more favorable then Bronx and local breweries were pretty good although maybe not as filling as Bronx food.

This morning when I got back to my apartment it still smelled kind of musty, and it seemed like it was coming out of the bathtub, so I scrubbed it down with some bleach. I think some of the soap scum has gotten kind of moldy in there from the dampness of the slow drain. Hopefully it will be better once I can get the windows open and the air dries up. Tried to get all of that bleach off my hands but it still smells like bleach even after a shower and a full day at work. I did leave some windows open a crack, despite the cold, to help things air out down stairs but it still is pretty musty. Tomorrow after work I’ll do some more scrubbing and it should warm up some by the end of the week. I’m not seeing a lot of mildew popping up but I think I know where I need to scrub.

I’m tired so I took out my contacts and are watching the PBS Newshour, which I tape recorded earlier. I’m going to head to bed pretty early. I liked sleeping out in my truck yesterday but the sun rise pretty early so I woke up early. I can’t wait to get back out camping. Bit I’m not sure if that is going to happen this weekend. The following weekend is lupine festival, so in thinking of getting out camping next during Memorial Day Weekend.

I am off to bed. Goodnight!
