Maps from the Northern Catskills around Windham, including Windham High Peak, Black Dome, Black Head Mountains, and Huntersfield Range of Mountains.
... locations and route taken is estimated based on GPS points added ex-post facto.

Blackhead and Black Dome Loop. While both Black Dome and Blackhead are fairly steep, once you reach the col between them, the individual peaks are not too bad. You can do both peaks, then come back via the Batavia Kill in probably 5 hours. They do hold ice for a long a time, especially the North slope of Blackhead, and are steep, so be careful about hiking them between November and May.

Burnt Knob, Acra Point, Batavia Kill Loop. Two years ago I did this loop. It's a nice hike to do in the afternoon, and it takes about 4 hours, including time to stop and take pictures.

Huntersfield Mountain. Huntersfield Mountain is a very remote mountain, just North of Catskill Park Blue Line, and it contains a lean-to, and clearings for views on multiple sides of the peak of Huntersfield Mountain. Views include many of the Northern Catskills, along with most of Schoharie County.

Thomas Cole Mountain Hike. Thomas Cole is the most westerly peak of the "Rooster Comb" of the Blackhead Mountains. It is around 3990 feet. West of Thomas Cole Mountain is a smaller 3520 foot peak known as Camels Hump, that has sweeping 360 degree views in all directions. Thomas Cole is largely viewless, except for one scenic vista cleared into the side of the mountain.

Windham High Peak Hike. From either NY 23 or Elm Road. As NY 23 is a shorter drive, and the elevation climb is slower, I prefer NY 23 by far.
