Jessup River Wild Forest Overview. Jessup River is a rather confusing area due to the significant timber company (International Paper) inholdings, which has a state easement that allows certain recreational uses like hunting and designated campsites.

Perkins Clearing and Speculator Tree Farm. A lot of these hunting camps are no longer here, and there are some new designated campsites along roads in this professionally managed timber lands.
