Campsites Along Lily Lake. Lily Lake is the outlet to the West of Canada Lake in Caroga Lake. There is a public boat launch on Stewart Landing Road, on the far west side of West Canada Lake. They allow power boats on this lake as it's in the Wild Forest.

Edick Roadside Campsites. West of Stratford on NY 29A, about a mile past Piseco Road, there is McClure Road which becomes Edick Road. This dirt road has two very remote roadside campsites worth going to if you want some place that's accessible, yet little known and very wild. This road is also not mud-season gated.

G-Lake Area. There are 5 roadside campsites on G-Lake Road, west of Piseco Lake. Some of the campsites are on Evergreen Lake, a spur of Irondequiot Bay, which is connected to Piseco Lake. To get there, you take NY 8 from Piseco West about 3 miles to G-Lake Road. The last 1/2 mile to G-Lake is gated off, however you can easily carry a canoe up there.

Good Luck Lake Campsites. Campsite 8 is the largest and most popular on Good Luck Lake, although this is one of the popular paddling areas in the Southern Adirondacks. The inlet of Good Luck Lake is 1/2 mile from NY 10, where it connects with the West Branch of the Sacandaga River, ten miles of truly beautiful flat water canoeing areas.

Jockeybush Lake. Jockeybush Lake is a two mile hike from NY 10 along a relatively flat snowmobile trail. There are three backpacking campsites.

Mud Lake and Jerseyfield Road Campsites. These two roadside campsites, and the one site you can hike into, are located North of Dolgeville. You take NY 29 out of Dolgeville to North Road to Jersyfield Road in this very remote portion of the Ferris Lake Wild Forest.

Nine Corner and Broomstick Lakes. There are six campsites on Nine Corner Lake, that is about 1 mile hike in from NY 29A, west of Caroga Lake, and Brookstick Lake, another half mile from there.

Piseco-Powley Road. This is from the Adirondack Roadside Camping Study. Piseco-Powley Road is a seasonal use road, and with around 20 designed campsites over the 18-mile truck trail, there is no shortage of camping opporunities.
