Woodhull Lake Road.
There are supposedly many roadside campsites along this road, but it's not in the current DEC Assets database, and I have not been there, so I could not add them. The lean to on Woodhull Lake is shown on the map, but the brand new lean to on Bear Lake is missing from the map. Woodhull Lake Road was recently resurfaced as these pictures on CNY Hiking show.
Woodhull Lake Road Overview.
Includes the rather lengthy trail (7.5 miles each way following an old railroad grade) to the Woodhull Mountain Firetower, along with where you access it from NY 28.
