June 25, 2017 Night

Good evening! Mostly cloudy and 60.3 degrees in Dormansville, according to my parents weather station that is ten feet from my truck. There is a west breeze at 6 mph. The dew point is 51 degrees. The skies will clear around 11 pm.

I thought I had a good weekend, got some mud on and in my truck, and didn’t get that bad of a sunburn laying in the sun at the Mine Kill Pool.Β I always enjoy going out to Schoharie County, in part because I don’t have to deal with the traffic by taking the back roads, and on such a nice weather weekend, the mountains were lush and green. Plus I got lots of fresh strawberries from Bohringers, so I’m not complaining at all. Did lose a lure in the Bleheniem Reservior, but shit like that always happens. So go figure.

Probably my only complaint was the weekend wasn’t longer.Β But heck, I’m leaving Friday for Moose River Plains for the long Independence Day Weekend, so I can’t complain too much. I’m sleeping my truck tonight, but then it’s a few days back at home, then it’s off to Moose River Plains. Assuming we have good weaether, I am looking forward to camping at Moose.
