Good evening! The weekend is all but over. Back to work tomorrow. Cloudy and 39 degrees in Delmar. There is a east breeze at 7 mph. The next few days will be stormy and cloudy. The skies will clear Wednesday around 3 am.

Tonight will have a chance of rain showers before 4am, then a slight chance of rain showers, snow showers, and sleet. Cloudy, with a low of 34 degrees at 5am. 19 degrees above normal. East wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow and sleet accumulation expected. In 2016, it got down to 14 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. The record low of -20 occurred back in 1970.

Got everything I needed done this weekend. I’m good on supplies and don’t expect to drive anywheres before next weekend. It might be slick Monday night or maybe just all rain, but the bus will get me home. Lead the Pine Bush hike, which turned out to be a bust with only me there. But I had the supplies I needed. Washed my truck, went out to my parents house for Sunday dinner. Clothes are washed and put away. Ready to go to work tomorrow. 

Waning Crescent Moon tonight with 29% illuminated. The moon will rise around 1:54 am. The New Moon is on Saturday night with mostly cloudy skies expected. The Full β€œSnow” Moon is on Saturday, February 11th. The sun will rise at 7:17 am with the first light at 6:46 am, which is 46 seconds earlier then yesterday. Tonight will have 14 hours and 19 minutes of darkness, a decrease of 2 minutes and 3 seconds over last night.

Tomorrow will have a slight chance of rain and snow before noon, then rain likely between noon and 4pm, then rain and sleet after 4pm. High of 37 degrees at 12pm. Seven degrees above normal. East wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible. A year ago, we had mostly cloudy skies and a high of 26 degrees. The record high of 64 was set in 1906. 10.6 inches of snow fell back in 1963.

In four weeks on February 19 the sun will be setting at 5:33 pm, which is 36 minutes later then tonight. In 2016 on that day, we had snow and temperatures between 37 and 11 degrees. Typically, you have temperatures between 36 and 18 degrees. The record high of 66 degrees was set back in 1981.
