Daylight Savings Time – Who observes it?

Daylight Savings Time - Who observes it?

While dairy farmers, Senator Hubert Humphrey and miscellaneous cranks talk about Daylight Savings Time being the work of the devil, most of America outside of Arizona observe it. Maybe if Humphrey had won in 1968 things would have been different, hard to say.

Officially, most of Arizona opted out of Daylight Savings Time in 1968, but before then it wasn't widely observed in the state. The tribal areas of the state do observe daylight savings time.

How much do you know the time zones? Many states are two time zones, often just a few counties are in a different time zone then you might expect. And much of Arizona doesn't follow daylight savings time, so it moves into the Pacific Time Zone for the summer.
