Brown, freshly fertilized farm fields, offset the pallet of grays in the sky, the tan of the winter-killed grass, the snow around. A land waits in fallow for spring to come again.

A stately old house sits outside of Sharon Springs, with the snow covered hills in the distance, and the Wal-Mart distribution center sitting on the right.

It's one of those fabled burn barrels I saw still being used out in Madison County. Freedom! Stick it to the man! Keep it out of the landfills. Good for them.
