Good morning! Happy New Years Eve. 2016 is almost done. Partly cloudy and 27 degrees in Delmar. There is a south breeze at 6 mph. We had a snow squall come through but now it’s done  The skies will clear tomorrow around noontime.

Today will have isolated snow showers before noon, then a slight chance of snow showers after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high of 37 degrees at 2pm. Five degrees above normal. South wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. A year ago, we had rain and a high of 43 degrees. The record high of 61 was set in 1895. 7.9 inches of snow fell back in 2007.

The sun will set at 4:32 pm with dusk around 5:04 pm, which is 51 seconds later than yesterday. Today will have 9 hours and 7 minutes of daylight, an increase of 45 seconds over yesterday.

Tonight will have a chance of snow showers, mainly before 5am. Cloudy, with a low of 32 degrees at 6am. Mild. 16 degrees above normal. South wind 8 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. In 2015, it got down to 30 degrees with periods of snow. The record low of -18 occurred back in 1970.
