Bethlehem, New York

Bethlehem is a town in Albany County, New York, USA. The population was 33,656 at the 2010 census. The town is south of Albany. Bethlehem includes the following hamlets: Delmar, Elsmere, Slingerlands, Glenmont, Selkirk, South and North Bethlehem.

Bethlehem Center Southside Maul

In 2003, the controversial and somewhat changed and downscaled Southside Maul, now known as Bethlehem Town Centre, was built off of US 9W. The maul contains are large Walmart, Lowes, and several smaller big-box types stores like Staples and Pandora's Box Bakery.

Starrdale Farms

Outside of South Bethlehem near the New Scotland town line. They have a lot of Dutch Belteds or Belted Galloway cattle, probably the prior but it's a bit hard to judge as a passing motorist.

Albany Steam Station 1960

In 1960, the Albany Steam Station was a 400 MW coal-fired power plant. In the 1980s it was converted to oil and natural gas, in the 2000s it was replaced by another plant on site that burned natural gas in a high efficiency turbine.Β
