Between January 1 and May 30, Albany has received 18.73 inches of precipitation (rain and melted snow).

That’s nearly 8 inches more precipitation then last year, and 4.08 inches more then normal.

In the months of March, April, and May — meteorological spring, Albany received 12.75 inches of precipitation in 2017. In contrast, in 2016 we only received 5.45 inches of precipitation over the same time period.

It’s been a very wet spring!
