Nice morning for a little walk down along Onondoga Lake. This time i walked down by the Salt Museum from the Yacht Club then also along the long forgotten creek at the border of the park. I was thinking about going back down to Green Lakes, but I didn’t really get an early enough of a start to do that. Still only very occasional color, but then again, this area doesn’t get much color until another 2-3 weeks. It’s not like the higher elevation locations.

A lunch time I have to get out for a nice walk, because rain and clouds are expected for the second half of the week ….

Tonight will have a chance of showers, mainly after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low of 56 degrees at 6am. 10 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 53 at 8pm. East wind 7 to 9 mph. There are 2 weeks until Yom Kippur when the sun will be setting at 6:25 pm with dusk at 6:54 pm. The average high temperature is 61 degrees, with a record high of 85 in 1954.
