Good evening! Mostly clear and 60 degrees in North Syracuse Calm wind. The dew point is 45 degrees. Nice cool autumn evening, but not too cold. Went out for a nice walk along Onondoga Lake this morning, although so far not much color yet. But it will come. I shouldn’t be rushing it as winter is already bleak enough. Then mid-day went for a walk around North Syracuse. A busy at times day but other times, it was fairly quiet.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low of 47 degrees at 6am. One degree above normal. Light southeast wind. The record low of 24 occurred back in 1947. Waning Crescent Moon tonight with 18% illuminated. The moon will rise arounfd 3:49 am. The New Moon is on Saturday at 12:11 am with chance of showers expected. The Full β€œHunter” Moon is on Sunday, October 16th at 4:23 am.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny, with a high of 73 degrees at 3pm. Six degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 52 at 4pm. East wind 3 to 7 mph. The record high of 83 was set in 2014. The sun will rise at 6:59 am with the first light at 6:30 am, which is 1 minutes and 7 seconds later then yesterday.
