Good evening! Cloudy and 63 degrees in North Syracuse. There is a south-southwest breeze at 10 mph. The dew point is 55 degrees. The skies will clear tomorrow around 4 am.

Somewhat watching the debate,Β but not really. Mostly playing on Facebook and Twitter and drinking, thinking I better stop pretty soon if I want to get up and go to work tomorrow. It’s interesting to learn about both candidates, although I’m still not certain who I will vote for come November. I like being an undecided voter — it gives me a chance to listen to the candidates with an open mind.

Tonight will have showers, mainly before 1am. Low around 54, with a low of 55 degrees at 6am. Seven degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 56 at 11pm. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. The record low of 24 occurred back in 1947. Waning Crescent Moon tonight with 25% illuminated. The moon will rise around 3:01 am. The New Moon is on Saturday at 12:11 am with chance of showers expected. The Full β€œHarvest” Moon is on Sunday, October 16th at 4:23 am.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny, with a high of 68 degrees at 3pm. One degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 52 at 6am. Southwest wind around 6 mph. The record high of 84 was set in 1998. The sun will rise at 6:57 am with the first light at 6:29 am, which is 1 minutes and 7 seconds later then yesterday.

Looking ahead, Columbus Day is in 2 weeks, Halloween is in 5 weeks, Last Day with 10 Hours of Daylight in Albany is in 6 weeks and Beaver Moon is in 7 weeks.

September 26, 2016 Morning

Good morning! Monday’s come back around again. So it is. Got to make some money so I buy more guns, ammo, beer, and gasoline for my jacked up truck. But at least we are at the last Monday in September. It is currently partly cloudy and 45 degrees in North Syracuse. There is a east breeze at 6 mph.

Today will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 71 degrees at 3pm. Three degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 51 at 6pm. South wind 6 to 14 mph. The record high of 89 was set in 2007. The sun will set at 6:53 pm with dusk around 7:21 pm, which is 1 minutes and 48 seconds earlier than yesterday. Today will have 11 hours and 55 minutes of daylight, a decrease of 2 minutes and 55 seconds over yesterday. While today will be cloudy for most of the day, the skies will clear early tomorrow around 4 am.

Tonight will have showers, mainly after 8pm. Low around 55, with a low of 55 degrees at 5am. Eight degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 55 at 10pm. Southwest wind 7 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. The record low of 24 occurred back in 1947.

There are 2 weeks until Columbus Day when the sun will be setting at 6:28 pm with dusk at 6:56 pm. The average high temperature is 62 degrees, with a record high of 89 in 1939. It’s remarkable to think we are already that to close to Columbus Day.
