Good evening! Clear and 68 degrees in North Syracuse. There is a west-northwest breeze at 5 mph. The dew point is 60 degrees. Not as humid as earlier with the dew point falling. But still a relatively warm evening for the second half of September.

It was a pretty crazy day. No disasters but just a lot going on today. Walking down at Onondaga Lake Park was nice, but it did mean i had to get an earlier start then I might have otherwise had to get started. But still it was pretty down by the lake. Also went out for a walk in evening, and got some fresh air. Survived the Tuesday and now tomorrow is Wednesday. The weekend is going to be nice, but fairly cool.

The switch I added for the CB radio in my truck works really well, making it easy to power on and off without messing with the squelch/volume knob each time I turn on it. I’m glad I spent the time to wire it all up. It’s good now that I’m commuting to work, as it makes it easy to start up and shut it down. The dashboard camera works well, and in the camera trap mode (only records with motion sensed), I’m catching some interesting things on the video.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low of 55 degrees at 6am. Five degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 60 at 9pm. West wind 3 to 5 mph. The record low of 29 occurred back in 1973.
