Good evening! Partly clear and 74 degrees in Albany, NY. Calm wind. The dew point is 66 degrees. The muggy weather ends Sunday around noontime.

Tonight will have isolated showers between 1am and 5am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5am. Increasing clouds, with a low of 69 degrees at 4am. Another really warm night, 15 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 66 at 10pm. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%. The record low of 34 occurred back in 1978. That demonstrates how truly warm it is tonight.  Waxing Gibbous Moon tonight with 55% illuminated. The moon will set around 2:47 am. The Full β€œCorn” Moon is next Friday at 7:05 pm.

Tomorrow will have  scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 5pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a high of 84 degrees at 2pm. 10 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 71 at 3pm. Light and variable wind becoming south 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. The record high of 96 was set in 1931. Off to New York City for work the next few days. Then over to Central New York. At least I’ll get to see a lot of country over the next few days. Going to be an adventure. September 9, 2016 8 AM Update

Definitely warming up and clearing quickly on this Friday morning.Β Partly cloudy and 75 degrees in Delmar. There is a west-northwest breeze at 7 mph. The dew point is 70 degrees. The muggy weather ends Sunday around 11 am.

I am having problems with the cigarette lighter extension pulling out and my phone and dash cam not always charging or operating. Right now, I used some electrical tape to hold it together. Long-term I’ll probably have to hardwire the extension and add a switch. I’ll see how things play out.

Talk about some hot, muggy weather.Β But at least I’m getting my stuff packed up. Went down to the library for a while last night.
