August 22, 2016 Evening

Good evening! Already this evening shadows have started to overtake the streets downtown. The temperature is 74 degrees with a dew point of 51. Pretty pleasant.

I decided not to stay late at work, but will do later in the week. I may bring some work home and just do it sitting out back. At this point the sun sets too early to go down to the park after work.

I also need to run to the grocery store later on. I may run in buy oil and a filter so at some point I can do an oil change. Maybe this weekend. Although I still have a ways to go before it would be absolutely required.

Changed up the font and a few minor bug fixes to the blog that I did last night but switched on today. The changes are so minor that if I had never mentioned them, they would be invisible.

Not looking forward to the increased traffic on the route home with the bus, but at least I’m not driving, so I guess it’s hard to complain too much.

August 22, 2016 3 PM Sunset Update

The sun will set at 7:44 pm with dusk around 8:14 pm, which is 1 minutes and 35 seconds earlier than yesterday. You may want to bring a long sleeve shirt, because we are looking at 66 degrees at sunset, under mostly clear skies.Β Very comfortable dew point, around 50 or 51.Β A 15 mph westerly breeze, especially on a ridge line or mountain, may make it feel quite cold.Β Nautical twilight, when it’s dark enough to see the stars well, begins at 8:51 PM.

Enjoy this beautiful sunset and evening!
