Five degrees above normal. Southwest wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Slowly but surely over the past few weeks the days have gotten shorter. Within the next day or so, dusk will be happening around 9 PM, rather then the 9:12 PM at the peak of the daylight. Temperatures remain near constant through the third week of August, then start the steady but certain decline as the month of September approaches.Β
