December 11, 2015 morning

Good morning. Happy Friday! Currently 47 degrees and partly cloudy. Going to be a nice weekend with highs through the weekend in the mid to upper 50s.

Apparently my battery is dead on my truck and it won’t start. Darn short trips at low speed and heavy load with the two batteries and headlights meant the alternator couldn’t keep up with the load. Or so I think. Once I get a jump start I will be fine. This happens occasionally in the winter. I may end up buying a jump pack, and leaving it charged in my apartment. While the rewiring of the battery excites the voltage regulator to ensure both batteries remain well to somewhat overcharged when traveling or even camping, it doesn’t do well with short trips in the city.
