November 25, 2015 evening

Good evening. Currently 41 degrees and clear with a full moon. Throughout the evening it should be mostly clear, with a low around 33. South wind 6 to 8 mph.

It’s the evening before Thanksgiving. Traffic seems to be moving well leaving the city but that may have more to do with the driver taking South Pearl and that I left work early.

November 25, 2015 morning

As we head into the 9 o’clock hour we are at about 28 degrees with lots of sun. Not a bad morning for the day before Thanksgiving. Still no snow on the ground, which is somewhat unusual for this time of year but not unheard of for late November. I’m not complaining about the lack of snow but the more serious deer hunters and snowmobilers certainly are. The Adirondacks are still mostly snow free.

Still have no plans for the weekend but I might go hiking on Thanksgiving day and hunting / camping later in the weekend. No decisions on the location but not too far away.

Still haven’t replaced my winter coat but I got to do that soon. It’s getting cold. My Carhartt is totally worn out with a broken zipper and while I can wear my wool dress overcoat to work, I need something more casual for those more laid back for casual days and when I’m back in the woods.
