September 11, 2015 afternoon

Well, hello, Happy Friday evening. The work week is over for the week. 77 degrees and partly sunny. Tonight looks like a delightful evening but plan to get up early on Saturday to enjoy the weather as it will cloud up and rain in the evening. A similar pattern is expected for Sunday.

Traffic is heavily delayed leaving the city due to construction. Ever since school started there had been perpetual jams on 787. Fortunately, we have a fast bus driver in traffic. But we still are stuck in traffic. Sun is rapidly setting with the sunset expected at 7:12 PM.

I might go down to the park tonight but it tricky as it gets dark early. I feel fairly confident I can do the walk now and it would be nice at the park. I guess the fall back plan is to walk down to the library and sit outside. I’d still like to relax down at the park. Depends how much longer I’m stuck in traffic.

September 11, 2015 morning

September 11, 2015. 14 years have come and gone since the September 11th attacks. The world has changed a lot over the years since that blue sky day, when I was a freshman at Hudson Valley Community College.

Today is cloudy and 64 degrees. Going to clear out later in the afternoon, look for a slightly above average high of 78. Sunset is at 7:12 this evening. Pretty much a new moon tonight with a seasonable low of 56.

The weekend looks to not be a total washout but hardly a pleasant fall weekend. Rain showers and cloudy both Saturday and Sunday. I guess not every weekend can have pleasant conditions.

Primary day has come and gone. Maybe I should go out and see if there are any plastic board campaign signs around that I can pick up on public right-of-ways so I mount targets on them. The ones I have from 2014 are becoming pretty shot up. No real surprises on the election, incumbents with superior war chests won overwhelmingly.
