Good evening, Sunday

It was a pretty cool easter weekend especially on Saturday. Today was a bit warmer but still real dreary. Tomorrow though to start out the work week is expected to reach 61 degrees with clearing in the evening. Rain showers again at night as the temperature drops more than the due point.

I probably could have spent more time in the woods this weekend but I spent much of it tinkering with code on my blog. After a false start last weekend, most things are back up and running. Ran into some bugs I didn’t catch testing locally, then faced delays porting the code to the newer Facebook and Twitter APIs. Annoying automated content is mostly gone.

Regardless, I got out quite a bit this weekend. Friday’s trout fishing was a bust but Cooksberg was beautiful even if it was cloudy out. Also got up to Huyck Preserve and saw the Waterfalls. Of course you know that, those pictures are on the front page of my blog. Saturday washed Big Red and went down to Hannacrois Preserve, then sat in my truck at Coeymans Landing watching the birds on the river. Today, it was out to the folks house for easter dinner.

All and all I think it was a pretty good weekend. Sleep well tonight, and week is upon us.
