Daylight Savings Time
Two weeks from now will be the first monday after daylight savings time has started. That means the sun will not set until almost 7 PM.
The actual sunset is 6:53 PM for March 8th, but there is still some light out after sunset from sun bouncing off the atmosphere. Civil twilight aka legal darkness is 7:21 PM, which means it won’t be dark until well after 7 PM.

Good Morning, Last Monday of February
Good morning, it’s the last Monday of February. Next week will be March when calendar spring comes around. In my experience, March is a relatively quick month which leads to April in no time. Sometimes I get out camping in March but I ain’t holding my breath.
Sunday’s weather was quite delightful, with the mercury itching out 34 degrees at the Albany Airport. Only the second time this month it’s broken freezing. Not expected to break freezing again until March 1st.
Yet as every day goes past, it’s gets harder for it to stay cold. The sun angle simply won’t permit the cold. It will probably remain cold until suddenly the weather warms up.
