Happy Friday
Good morning, Happy Friday. Yes, it’s finally the end of the week. Tomorrow is Saturday and it’s supposed to get up to 27 degrees by the end of day, before the snow comes on Sunday. Cold by next week.
Got a jury summons for two weeks from now. I look forward to the opportunity to by an effective check on the power of government, holding multinational corporations responsible, freeing innocent men, and holding government officials accountable — all in town court. I know I will probably get a jury trial over a parking ticket. Still it’s important to hold meter maids accountable.
Making good progress on the blog rewrite. Fixing a lot of bugs, removing obsolete code and totally rewriting how the photos and maps are processed.
Traffic delays heading downtown this morning due to US 9W emergency bridge work. It looks like a joint on the bridge heaved from the cold and I’d repaired this morning.

Good morning, Happy Thursday. On a clear day if you look at the horizon you can see the weekend. Of course today isn’t a clear day, so you can’t really see the weekend.
Kind of overslept, so I ended up taking the yokel local bus downtown. I guess I could have taken Big Red down to the Park and Ride but that would be stupid as the local runs right past my apartment and arrives downtown at about the same time as the express.
Last night went out Center Square Pub for two drinks and subsequently spilled beer on my freshly dry cleaned suit and and overcoat. I scrubbed it with a wet cloth, splashed some aftershave on it and let it dry. Seems fine this morning. Shit happens.
No real plans for the weekend but I might continue working on debugging the blog and finish implement the new photos code. Might go cross country skiing somewhere nearby too, but not too far out of town.
Why conservative Alaska legalized marijuana. Who’s next?
It will be very fascinating to see what the next Republican president will do on marijuana in states policies. He or she will have a great deal of power on this issue, but if libertarian red states start loosing up their restrictions, it's hard to see a Republican president cracking down on them.

Good morning, Hump Day rolls around once again. A nice sunny morning, not so cold. Maybe there is hope after this long winter after all. I tell myself that March comes and goes really quickly.
Went grocery shopping last night, and it was great not having the crowds. I should be set now until Sunday.
Traffic is light heading downtown but that is to be expected at this hour. A session day, there sometimes is delays in the Empire State Plaza but not today. Must not be a major lobby day.
