Real-time Bus Info is Great

Real-time Bus Info is Great. Before heading out this evening I went to the CDTA website to check the real-time bus time for the 719.

When it wasn’t available I knew the 719 was probably running real late, so I checked the time for the 18. Only had to wait for two minutes in tbe cold and had a good idea when I would see the bus.

Thursday Morning.

Good Morning, Happy Thursday. Tomorrow is the last day of the work-week which comes warily when you take the first two days of the week off.

Nice but Chilly Morning Out. Not super cold out with the bright sun but still cooler then you would expect for the third week of November. Regardless,Β  I am not complaining, we could be Buffalo with their blizzard. The long range NAO forecasts suggested that we could have some real snowy weather if the NAO gets stuck in the negative position.

Walked Down to the Park and Ride. A nice walk for sure, and the express bus is quiet and fast.Β  A longer commute if you count walking time, but I figure its fresh air and calories burnt.

Probably Stay In Town This Weekend. I need to replace the starting battery and want to go for a walk in the Albany Pine Bush.

The following weekend during the Thanksgiving break, head up to the Adirondacks to do some small game hunting and plinking, aling with camping. That would be a lotΒ  of fun — my shotgun looks so lonely in my bedroom.

Still need to decide about the lift kit. Its much money but my tires are getting pretty shot. I took the money out of savings and just got to do it I guess.
