Happy Thursday.

Happy Thursday.Β After like two months of basically no note posts, here are two in a row. Kind of funny how that goes. I really should take up doing more blogging stuff, because its more interesting then just doing pictures and maps. Plus it gives me a chance to do something on the bus as I go to work on the morning, and seems to get the morning off to a right start.

Cleaned Up My Kitchen Last Night.Β While it’s not perfect, it’s a lot better then the slop house it was before last night. I will do a little more cleaning tonight as I pack for my 4-day trip to VEE-mont. I don’t like to leave my kitchen anything but spotless when I am gone for multiple days, as I don’t want to come back to any surprises like bugs or mice. The nice thing about camping is you can use disposable plates and silverware, and burn them, so you don’t have to wash them.

Packing for My Vermont Trip.Β I am kind of excited about it all. I have never been to the central part of Vermont, instead concentrating in past on weekend trips to the area of Somerset Reservior and Somerset firetower. There is a lot of the green mountains I haven’t seen, and from my last drive through Rutland and Central Vermont Mountain Country it looks pretty beautiful.

Lost at Softball Last Night.Β Well at least my team did. I didn’t play, but I was feeling sick and had two beers on an empty stomach and was pretty much out of it. Didn’t help that I had to take a piss, and of course there was a cop in the park, not to mention spectators in the bushes where I wanted to take a piss. It was a close game, and we were ahead, then behind, then tied, then back ahead, and then lost in final inning, when the home team got to runs in the final inning. Go figure.

A Couple of Days of Rain and Humidity.Β Supposted to break on Friday or Saturday, then Sunday, Monday, Tuesday are going to be quite nice. Possibly even a bit chilly in the Green Mountains, so it’s an excuse to make a bigger fire. I don’t think there is any risk of snow this time of year though.
